I am an umbra witch. We use magic that normally revolves around weaponry and time. Throughout the ages, we are known to make packs with either demons or entities and they become our partners to fight against the light. Me on the other hand, I want to fight for the light and against the dark. But I do not know which spiritual entity I want.

You're not obligated to follow any deity. However, you should go for the deity that draws you the most.
A good thing to do is search for Gods/Goddessess of any mythology and focus on the spiritual. This meaning look for deities that represent things connected with the spiritual, like Anubis represents the underworld, per instance.
When you've done your research, find the one that calls to you, when you have that figured out, do some research on that God/Godess, it's history, what it represents, things associated to that deity, etc. Then devote yourself to that deity. Some people have altars dedicated to their Gods/Godesses, others just pray, do what you think feels best.
I am in the Paranormal world, where i help people with spiritual problems such has haunted hauses, haunted people, talking to spirits, etc.. To me, i find that the Catholic God was calling to me, so i follow Him inside that path.
This sounds a lot like Bayonetta. Deities are not just something you can play around with. They are not your partners. Also, Styx isn't a deity. It's a river in Hades. If you're actually serious about honoring a deity, drop this silliness and do some actual research.
If you want someone who is dark, mystery's, fierce, and a good partner I would go with Hecate. She is the queen of Witches and occult matters are her domain. She is very helpful and will help you with your problems as long as you acknowledge her as master, not the other way around. At least that is what I think. It's you choice, no one else's.
I'm not sure where you got the whole partner fighting against light and dark thing but hats not really hope this all works. Like everyone else said, pick one that you like and resonates with you. Keep in mind your working with a godform and not a video game or anime character.
When working with a deity I believe that you are either called to a deity or you are not. If you like a particular deity because of who they are and their patronage then you can chose to serve, worship, revere, or honor them. You can pray to a deity for help, support, and guidance.
Deities and higher beings do not serve at beck and call, so thinking every time you need something and you can just call upon a deity for their aid and support is funny to me, sure you may do so and if the act of doing so empowers you then right on.
Personally I find that unless a god, goddess, spirit, or other being has a very specific interest in you personally for whatever reasons they may have then they should only be called upon for very specific and significant reasons such as rites and moments of actual dire need.
