How did i come across magick ? like i just got into for no reason, and well i dont know my ancestors, and well when i got into the craft ive been stronge like i can do alot of stuff and it will be easy for me but dont know if i have a witch in my bloodline or it was cause of my pastlife. What do you guys think ?
Magic and witchcraft isn't a hereditary thing. That's like saying first aid runs in my blood because my ancestor was a doctor. Magic is a force accessible by all and it doesn't require certain bloodlines in order to tap into it.
I always knew I was different....but I didnt know how and then I found out about witchcraft and this is where I belong. Not sure how it happened. Someone later said that you must have it in your blood and ancestors urged and nudged you to go to that libary and read about witch craft.

while it would be cool to be from a long line of witches, and it would probably help, i doubt it's the soul reason. perhaps you're best gifted at magic, i've very rarely used a spell on myself unless it's a potion, but my friends come to me when they need a protection or luck chant, it just depends, you might be better suted to spellcasting then, say, meditation. it doesn't mean you're bloodline's 'pure' just you're born with a natural talent for casting. blessed be.
I'm the same way. Spells are very easy for me to do, i find it easy to send energy to things, or take energy, but meditating is hard for me .-.
I believe that my great grandmother was a witch. We all called her one (not because she was 'evil'!!!!! cause she was not!) And I believe she was one. This could be the reason that spells are easy, and its possible that its not. i dont know
I have found this so helpful. Im glad to know im not the only one with wicca/witchcraft running in the family. I practised unknowingly from being small. So now its part of who I am but I want to awaken properly and to use it in a good way. So now I have a lot of learning and catching up to do

If you think back far enough in time, then everybody alive today will have some ancestors that were witches! Before the rise of the "mainstream" religions, there were a great many women, and men, practising witchcraft; or rather magic, not the witchcraft that is so labelled today.
So, the idea of somebody having "powers" from ancestors is as a previous post has said; it's like saying you are an expert in First Aid because one of your ancestors was a doctor!
Each individual discovers magic for themselves; some never do!

Wicca does not run in families, nor is it inherited. Wicca is a religion and one chooses to practice that religion or one does not. And since Wicca as we know it dates back no earlier than 1954 there is no way to claim that our distant ancestors practiced it.
