what's the saying? "Turn the other cheek." I'm sure it applies to this. I hope you find a sense of community here on SoM.

Largely naysayers of Christians conveniently forget (or just don't know thanks to fluffy bunny version of history) that most of witchcraft in the early modern period (1400-1900) was likely done by Christians or semi-Christians.

Spells and accounts are often accompanied by a mixture of pagan and christian elements and imagery.

No one religion has the key to everything, and all paths must be respected. This is often called as an argument against Christianity. If taken to its full extent, it means that Christianity and Christians deserve respect as well. Many CHristians have done much against the name of witchcraft, even when they do it to their own, but the individual cannot be judged for what others like him have done. Pagans complain how Christians treat them, but Pagans need to be respectful and kind to Christians as well.

Different religions have always condemned other religions; because each religion believe theirs to be "the right one". This has caused many wars over the centuries; and is still doing so!
But, religion has nothing to do with witchcraft/magic/Alchemy.
One of the greatest Alchemists in history, and who most certainly practiced witchcraft, was a very devout Christian; Sir Isaac Newton.
I don't believe in any religion; but I respect all of them.

Thank you SatinDove and I agree for centuries religions have fought for the ideals and beliefs they hold. Though we need to accept each other as we are, our belief may be different but we can coexist peacefully if we so want to. Its the people that think they know the right path that force their briefs on others and persecute those that don't see it their way.

Satandove and Aidin as you can brief the history of Christianity and satanism there is a reality that satanism was emerged through christianity as some christians started favouring satan as they interepted bible to their bekeifs!
In straight Christianity gave birth to satanism! Lastly I wanted to say that I am not criticiding neither christianity or satanism and was sharing my knowledge and we should respect all religions!
