I have been sensitive to spirits since I was young as well and for a time the "shadows" scared me as well. One trick I've learned is simply to hang some sage clippings in the window and over the doorway. This will keep any unwanted spirits out of the room(s) and also adds a bit of a nice scent. As for getting rid of the spirits already there, simply ask them nicely but firmly. Most spirits are influential to a point, especially when treated with respect. If there is a spirit or two that stay, be more forceful and perhaps less polite but never be offensive or rude. There's a difference between being demanding and being disrespectful. I hope this helps. Feel free to mail me if you have any questions.

I have experience with shadow people. They are not there to cause harm. In fact, they mostly just stay a little while. Being that one may be an uncle, it could be a watching over thing. I have a friend who has one that watches over her. If you can find a way to communicate that they are scaring your sister, they'll probably leave. As for your sister, you can lessen her fears by telling her they are just visitors, which most are. When she sees them, tell HER to tell them that they are scaring her. Your sister can ask them to go away. But keep her calm, like no need to yell at them. Just talk. And the charm necklace is not a bad idea. It will also clue in the spirits that they are bothering her. Since SHE is the one seeing, let HER do the talking. Then allow her to participate in putting up protection, even in instructing the necklace to protect her. You can hang the necklace over her bed during sleep where she can see it. This will make her feel included in what you mean to do, which should calm the fear. But like I said, shadows are just watching over, or just visiting for a bit. I see no real danger. I even had a shadow bird fly through my kitchen! Just passing through. lol You can tell her that, if you want. I feel this will solve the problem, and she won't be so scared if she sees another. Good luck, though I know this will work. Blessed Be...

I haven't read the other posts except the first one about the Ouija board.

Please don't use one. Use the Psychic Circle instead (available for purchase at Barnes and Noble, among other sites).

Here's the deal, from my experience.

Your sister is an intuitive, possibly a psychic medium.

The spirits seem benign. You both can talk to these spirits in a positive way, if you like. Otherwise, it seems like they are content to just "live and let live."

Good luck.

Salt, if they come into her room put salt on the window seals and then make a line across the door way. It seals of from spirits. Also trying asking them to not scare your sister. I lived in a house that had spirits and I asked them not to make noises or scare me and it worked. Yes a pentagram will work but if your not a pagan than a cross will work too.
