Now, I have chosen to convert to Wicca... Yet I am still very "noobish" on Wicca. Don't think in just diving into this blindly of course. I am going to study what I can before I even consider myself Wiccan... Yet I'll point out that I feel like the Wiccan religion is..... "Right" to me... Does that make sense? Well, yeah. I'll need some help across the way... Spells and such, and practicing the religion too maybe. The celebrations and beliefs are so amazing to me, and they feel like I am meant to follow them. Don't say I'm crazy or anything.... But that's all I can really explain. I don't think I'm going to necessarily tell my parents about myself becoming Wiccan... They'll use those stereotypes against me, even though they are as false as possible... But yeah.
Hopefully someone could be able to give me some tips along the way on my journey with this, and I'll be doing my research too!
Welcome to the craft. There are many good resources out there for you to read up on and study. Many of them are here in the articles and newbie central which is a great place to start. Please watch out for fluff (vampires, werewolves, shape shifting) anything that is not possible in the physical world is not possible in magic. If you have any questions feel free to message me. Blessed Be!

Welcome. I've been practicing Wicca for some 30 years and I've been High Priestess of a coven and Tradition since 1996. While I won't teach on-line, I'll be happy to try to answer any specific questions you might have and to point you at some good resources to help you out. A good place to start is the thread "What Wicca Is and Isn't" here in the Wicca Forum, and also the group of threads collected under the title "Wicca Basics" again here in the Wicca Forum. Best wishes to you on your journey
Yee, Lark is a fantastic person to talk to, as well as others on the site. There are also some great books out there, but unfortunatly some bad ones too. My favourite beginner's book for Wicca was "Wicca for Beginners" by Thea Sabin.
I'm relatively new to witchcraft and Wicca but I'd be happy to answer any questions you have if I can! Blessed be. :)
I'm reading Wicca A Guide for the solitary practitioner by Scott Cummings. I got it on Amazon for $5. Its a great read and is very helpful. I'll continue adding and reading books probably forever. You never can get enough knowledge.
Books would be best and hopefully you can get your hands on some Raymond Buckland and Scott Cunningham are great, but there are many others. Look through the pinned forums in this section, Lark has made a few lists of books one should read.
A word to the wise, don't look at spells first, leave that for later. While Wiccans cast spells, it shouldn't be the primary reason to convert. Try studying, having Esbat [full moon] and Sabbat [holidays] circles to get a feel for the religion and connect with the deities, then try spellwork. Good luck to you, blessed be.
