stones, minerales, etc..

I was looking at a piece of coal that I have and began wondering its magical properties. If anyone knows that'd be greatly appreciated. And if anyone knows the properties of different minerals and stones that'd also be greatly appreciated.

Coal is fossilised vegetation, and so has all the qualities that were once in the plants,and they are concentrated.A great many things are produced from coal.Many modern medicines are obtained from coal. A subject well worth studying. The old Alchemists did all sorts of experiments with coal.It is a fascinating subject.
