I personally have not met a 'fake' profile and if I did I'd use the new report to admin button in the mail.
As far as the old members that return, that is not a fake profile in regards to do harm, but more or less to cover themselves from being discovered, even though that does not work nine times out of ten.
Simply report them if they are breaking the rules and the terms of service.
Mr. Bacon, i'm confused. You say that moderators can see our web adresses, but i read a post made by lark that said only petrarca could see the web adresses. And lark says that we can realy never know who we are talking to. I realy dont know what to beleive.
Only Petrarca can see the real names and addresses. A Mod cannot gag an account! Mods can delete a post!
And we use a password, not exactly to hide from anybody,but so that we do not get pestered! Also, I use a password because my real name is too long!

No need to be confused. I was wrong in regarding the IP address part of the moderators. :)
Though the primary reason for multiple accounts is to join multiple covens as you can only have one account in one coven. :) If the individual causes trouble with their multiple accounts they will be dealt with swiftly by the administrator.

See what happens, Mr Bacon, when you post without the complete breakfast including Avacado. lol Ok probably not the best place for joking but some people seem to not be taking this serious. It is a simple warning and a common sense thing. You can share and learn without risking personal safety. If someone you do not know on this sits wants your address or other personal information, they are ' fake ', report them as Mr Bacon says. Even if you think you know them, they do not need your personal information. I do not see what is so difficult here. Several moderators have explained it most adequetly. :-)

Was not insuating you were fake or unserious Bacon. That was directed at anyone making the issue more confusing than it is. Do not give personal information to strangers you meet here. Simple. :-)
@chaos. That ship has already sailed. In fact i cant think of another reason why you would have made those last 2 posts. I guess your name says it all. @Brysing, you seem knowledgeable about the site, is giving misleading or false information also considered a fake profile or is that just fluff?
