Demons??

I have had some experiences where I feel trapped in my bed. I'll be asleep and wake up out of nowhere because my body wont move. I will try and try, but I have to struggle really hard to get my body to move. I have also seen a dark figure, wearing an old time amish-looking hat with red eyes. This terrifies me so bad that I always have trouble sleeping. I have not slept right in years and it is driving me crazy. I dont know what it is, but I have only seen the figure a couple of times while Im experiencing feeling trapped. What could this be? Please help me shed some light on this subject.

But what is the figure that I am seeing. It is tall, dark, has a hat and glowing red eyes. I am scared and confused. I have been having them problems since I had my daughter 11, almost 12 years ago. At first it started out as someone whispering to me to come to them because they had to show me something. Then it started with the paralyzing sleep patterns. I just wanna know what it is and how to stop it.....Im frustrated.

It sounds a lot like sleep paralysis to me, one of my best friends gets it quite badly and I understand that the ordeal can be truly terrifying. The figure you see may simply be your imagination and an aspect of a dream being carried over into the waking mind (I can't tell you much of the science behind it unfortunately). It may be some form of spirit, what it is doesn't matter too much. I'd suggest meditating and attempting to communicate with it, if that fails or negotiations fall through then use a banishing ritual but bare in mind that if it is a part of your dreams no spell work will really get rid of it.

It's a sleep paralysis, obviously.

If you're saying that your body parts started to 'fall asleep', that's exactly what defines and Characterizes the phenomenon Sleep Paralysis.
Sleep paralysis consists of a period of inability to perform voluntary movements either at sleep onset (called hypnogogic or predormital form) or upon awakening (called hypnopompic or postdormtal form).
It is not harmful, although most people report feeling very afraid because they do not know what is happening, and within minutes they gradually or abruptly are able to move again; the episode is often terminated by a sound or a touch on the body.
According to the definition of sleep paralysis, what you had is very relevant for the phenomenon.

As for the figures you see... Seeing figures and hallucinating (getting images from your subconscious) are totally natural phenomenons which actually happen to be fairly common phenomenons as an outcome of having a sleep paralysis ! You shouldn't worry about it, since natural phenomenons that have to do with your mind and dreaming won't possibly hurt you by any meaning, you're absolutely safe.
Anyway you should read about this phenomenon and check out what you need to to in order to ease up the situation.

Dear HeatherRenee,

I know exactly how you feel. In my childhood home and also other people’s houses I’ve had experiences with apparitions that bind you to your bed and while asleep (you think you are asleep) you are having an encounter, only to wake up in tears, screaming or panting.

When I was a baby my mother described to me an apparition, also with red eyes, outside my window and looking into the crib. My mother and grandmother took care of it with a spell and reversal-chanting (Our Father prayer, in Spanish in reverse).

You described the apparition quite well. Do you rent or own your house? If you own the house, for how many years? Has it been passed down from one generation to the next? Did someone die in said house and if so in what circumstances? Where is the house/apt located? Does the neighborhood have a history of encounters, such as street alleys or corners?

The apparition is most likely a spirit trapped between two worlds, ours and the invisible realm where lost souls wander unable to cross over. I know many people have seen movies and realities about ghosts and some may have an idea but another thing is to experience it first-hand.

First thing you have to do is keep calm. Control your anxiety and your breathing. It won’t harm you unless you do or say something to enrage it.

Second, talk to it. Many people are so scared they are not willing to talk. Do so and do it gently. Say: “I ask you to please leave me alone”. Repeat it for as long as you want. If chanting helps you then do so as well. Close your eyes if you’re really scared but please keep talking gently and keep chanting.

Third, the very next day get a bucket with water, mix in sea salt and mop all your floors with this water. Not too much salt to leave the floors sticky, you’ll know when you start mopping. Then get a little plate, add salt to it and place it in any corner of your bedroom. The salt will keep the entity away from your home or if it’s too strong it will turn the salt a bit dark or yellow. If it changes color repeat every day until it remains white.

Finally, and since I love crystals, place an amethyst close to your bed or anyplace inside your room that’s dark, for protection from nightmares and attacks.

Blessed be.

This is actually pretty common. I've been researching a paranormal entity called the Hat Man, and this may be him.

As said above, it could just be sleep paralysis.
