I can't shake the feeling

Okay, so yesterday one of my best friends gave me this ring. It is in a Yin-Yang shape and has three little fake diamonds in it. She has one that is red and in the same shape. I have a feeling that it may be of magickal use to me and that the ring is special. Can anyone help me with this?

I have the same feeling about my grandfathers ring, he is going to give it to me this year probably during chrismas..... it is made of gold and has 3 real diamonds on it....... i have a feeling it is for protection becuase my grandfather almost died 7 times and each time he had the ring and he always servived. So i know what you mean.
As for your ring since yin-yang is a symbol of balance and peace it may be to help balance you and bring peace to you spiritually, mentally, and physically.

Insticts most of the times are correct. The ring is i assume of some kind of metal and not plastic like the most common for rings silver and steel. Which metals can be used to store energy into. Every person has a better connection with some of the metals than others so this ring could feel like this cause of the energy it contains. Still cleanse it and storage your own energy in it.
A gift from a friend when it was given with good intentions is always valuable and feels important. Though the ring could be of value to you, magickal value in many ways. It could be cause it represents balance which could be a sign on how to proceed in your path.
My advice is to wear it. Cleanse it and charge it. Make it your own a part of you like a wand it is supposed to be. Wear it when you meditate and when you practise magick. See how it feels when you wear it. Trust your instict.
If you feel it has a deeper meaning hold it in your hands while you meditate and concentrate on unlocking that secret. It could be a sign as i earlier told you.
Still no matter what, it is a gift from a friend and you can put it to use and try to see what it is best to have it for.
