It says in the bible, Exodus 22:18 "Do not suffer a witch to live." In Deuteronomy 18:9-13 "When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God."
This is why some Christians see witchcraft as evil. This doesn't mean that you can't be Christian, but know these verses if you encounter someone trying to demonize you, this is why they do. Magick is a something beautiful and shouldn't be seen as evil. These verses are of people fearing things that they do not know.

my opinion, whatever. some people say no you cannot for Buckland's reason [and on one hand i agree] but i know of many Wiccan's who worship the Christian god. at the same time, i had a religions teacher who was a Buddhist Christian, basically he took the teaching from both religions that he agreed with to form his own believes. i find nothing wrong in that, so As Tt Harm None, Do What Thou Wilt i guess ^_^

im going to start off saying one can be a jew and a christian for the simple fact is christian steam from the jew and the first christian was jews it was not to act when it was every one could become christian
one a side note jesus told said to do three things
1. love the lord ur god with all ur heart soul and mind.
2. love your neighbor as you love your self.

with these being said yes one can use magic if on is a jew or a christian but should only work with those things that have the breath of life witch means its is a living thing
