I noticed the broom closet and twilight vampires and my Internet died before i could look at more. I would like to join a smaller coven with an acti e priest and priestess.

A regular member cannot remove leaders from a coven, only an administrator can. And it's not a common thing either. If you want to join a small coven with active leaders then look in lost of currently existing covens and join one after finding something that befits what you're looking for.

I'm currently in Second Sight, which is fairly small and has a active priest, priestess and council members. We love to chat, but dont pollute public chat either. We're like a little family! ^.^

I suggest you read up on the coven's pages under 'groups' until you find one suited to you. Smaller covens are listed at the bottom. I suggest you ask yourself some questions before you join the coven though!

Second Sight is huge, well big. Those 100+ covens are considered huge.
Fairly small is 20+ members. lol
But anyway, I can say Second Sight is actually a very good coven. They have very structured classes, and you can't find anything quite like it anywhere else on the site. Their system is you are required to learn. lol Which I most definitely agreed with, and was inspired by. :)

I would just like to advise people against Council of Earna. Not that is a bad coven or anything, just that the priest and priesess are never online, which is why i left

I don't think that's business appropriate for public forums. Perhaps you should take up personally with the priest and priestess of the coven instead of discussing it here with people it really doesn't concern at the moment.

Personally, from what I have heard, read, etc; the covens I would go for are Second Sight, Immortal's Keep, and Council of Knowledge. They all have fabulous reviews. :) And great people run them.

To be truthful, as far as I know, Pet has only removed an inactive leader and replaced them with an active one once. That was what occurred last year with Vampiric Elegance. While the coven is now dead due to the current leader's decisions, it definitely isn't the full on fluff fest it was.

All you can really do in these situations is search for a way to contact the priest or priestess, and hope and pray they care enough for the coven to hang over authority. Pet has more important things to worry about then the 10+ dead covens on the site when there are 10+ active covens on the site. Yeah, some covens are dead, but it doesn't mean they always will be. You learn to take what you can get sometimes.

If you really want to change things, join the dead covens, and fix them without the priest and/or priestess, show the mods and Pet that you can actually run the coven, that you aren't fluff, and that you deserve it. Then politely ask Pet to take it over. If he says no, take it in stride. Don't whine and bellyache like a child. If he says yes, then do your job.

That's all you can really do. That or join an active coven.
