Br8gent. Sorry, it is rubbish! No matter how many believe something, it will not make it happen. So, wait until 2012. It is not very far away. So I will make of you a prophecy. It will not happen.
also 2012 will most likely happen due to the fact that every major "world ending" event up until now has been brought on by man.y2k was people messing with computers,cold war was people with nuclear bombs so is it really that hard to believe that the planet could end it?
lets not get our feathers in a bunch, we don't want to move into one of those "banned" topics first of all let me clear the air
we are NOT going to die, we are actually going through a beautiful process of the upliftment of the earth's consciousness,its simply a transition of spiritual growth just like physical growth, will a grand shift take place on dec 21 2012? the answer= no , that date only marks the beginning process of the shift into the 5th dimension, from the 4th dimension, we are currently moving into the 4th dimension at the moment, lets focus on that for now.
Not to be negative , jeez ive been saying that alot today , anyway not to be negative the world can easily end its happened before , its unfortunate but true , but if life has no dangers or fear of extinction they tend to get stuck in a rut , life must thus end for life to continue , what i mean is when the dinosaurs died out mammals arrived and thus the rise of mankind so if we died out some other creatures would rise and become the new main specie of the planet , its just the way life is even if it isnt by 2012 it will happen. No offense to anyone out there but humans are just a type of animal after all
To be quite honest if everything ends for us (like it ended for those who came in the past cycles) you know, we will either still be around, just a lower life form (like animals which were the first supposedly ended race) or the human race itself will change in such a big way that humanity is something totally different...or we all die. Honestly 2012 says major chaotic change is coming, the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. It never says we all are gonna die or anything like that.
As for the alignments, there is a rare alignment that will occur on the predicted date. This is when our solar system lines up with the center of our galaxy, which is the dark patch between Sagittarius's arrow and Scorpio's tail (I believe, its honestly been a long time since I looked into the alignment so forgive me if I am off). This rare alignment may cause problems as well as unusual effects on our planet, I honestly don't know as I am not a scientist. Certainly it will effect those of us who are plugged into the universe.
Solar flares happen all the time. Yes, there have been instances and they expect instances where they will be a bit larger than they normally have, as such will directly affect the temperature of the Earth, but guess what? The Earth has been warming up since the Ice Age. It happens.
The magnetic pole shift..happens more often than I think you realize.
There have been countless shows, documentaries, articles, ect that discuss all of these things. There is no reason to believe the Earth is going to spontaneously explode, nor that there will be a solar flare so huge that we burn instantly.
A lot of these theories that revolve around these scientific facts are made by people who either take things waaaay to far, or don't know enough about the subject to realize that this stuff happens, has happened, and will continue to happen through out the existence of this planet.
In order for this planet to suddenly just stop being all together would take numerous catastrophic events happening on the same day at the same time. The odds of which are slim to none.
As I said before, there have been reports of the end of the world since (documented) 30 BC. In regards to the Mayans and their prediction..no where does it say the world is ending. It suggests a change. Change does not mean death and destruction.
