Had a thought...

I am sure that there are still some dragons here on the material plane-think about it. The ocean is very vast and most of it is unexplored. There are places on earth that are unhabitable for humans that would be perfect for a dragon. I mean, the loch ness monster might be a dragon! Is dragons can come from the astral plane to here, whos to say dragonsdidn't all go to the astral plane and some stayed?

Your thought on this is highly possible. As it remains there are currently species alive on the physical plane now that are considered to derive from Dragon species. As for the ocean, I don't see why a non-flying species of Dragon couldn't live within its depths. ;)

Personally, I think 'Nessie' and 'Champ' are modern day dragons. Think about it. How many sightings have there been? I have seen various television shows that try to prove photos of Nessie and Champ as hoaxes, but they couldn't consistently reproduce the same images.

It would also make sense because Dragons are said to live for a long time, the actual length of time is unknown, so these "myths" could very well be Aquatic Dragons. Also, the "kraken" of legends that can destroy ships in the middle of the ocean.

I fully agree with HobbitGrrrl. Dragons do still reside on the material plane.

It is quite possible that dragons can interfere with the physical plane when it is necessary from the astral. Just as spirit realm reflects the physical and the physical reflects spirit realm.

All connected.. one effecting the other.

Completely see this as possible. At least, makes me feel better to think so. :)
