3 nights of hell spell

Why did the three nights of hell spell backfire on me and cause another individual to have an accident that i intended to have happen to someone else?

wow, i never knew it could backfife, i shall look more into it.

Judging by the requirements of said spell, I would assume there was another person in the picture/near the picture or your focus was off.

Focus is concentrating on the task at hand. If you allow your mind to wander or visualize different things/people, you lack focus and thus cause all sort of ridiculous things to happen from the wrong target, completel failure to having it turn on you.

i have looked at the spell why would someone use such a horrible spell, this is really "three nights of hell" you do know consequences for using such a dark spell.
