if so then..it is a possiblity but also another lie.

Just the same as morals anywhere else, I guess. I think of magic as a technology-- today there are so many students nowadays plagiarizing from the internet. You can blame the internet for making it so easy to cheat, or you can recognize that it only gives a person the opportunity to be more of what they already are... whether that's a knowledge-seeker or a cheater.

I don't see what's wrong with knowledge-seeking, after all knowledge is power.

Morals and ethics are opinions, Plain and simple. Everybody is different, which means that their sense of right and wrong is different. How they do things and what disgusts them is different. Their morals and ethics are different. Their opinions, sometimes set by somebody else.
