?Semi-Qouting.
I think I know what you are referring to.
"hiding my light under a bushel" is a reference to a bible passage, not a quote from your post...and just one little tip, when in a war of words, it's really best not to enter the battlefield unarmed.
Sorry if I misunderstood. But you seem to feel that I should hide what I am to keep from being attacked by bigoted Xtians. To me, it seems as if you believe I'm at fault because I wear the symbols of my religion openly, a right that is unquestioningly given Xtians. And you expressed that notion quite rudely. "asking for it," was one of your comment, I think.
So forgive me, If you will, but I have done nothing but stand up for my rights as an American, and that doesn't need forgiving!
It does hurt my feelings too, Rayna. I understand that they care about us and want whats best for us but they should understand that that is our choice and its a personal thing. They should mind their own buisiness. Yes, curiosity is in our nature but we should still mind our own buisiness.
I don't care which religion someone follows, I find it good to have friends from several, if not all religions; plenty of knowledge.
Hmm except satanism, I dislike that religion (personal reasons).
Anyhow here in Europe I've never seen someone yelling in the streets: save yourselves, accept Jesus, you will burn in hell for your magic etc.
It says in Bible pagans go to heaven, maybe you can give them that info next time they attack you.
:)
There are too many Jesus freaks in America. Too many Christian fractions have been created over the years. Frankly I don't like that.
Catholics here aren't that occupied with such nonsense and I think neither are Orthodox or Protestant Christians.
There you have it, America, the land of the "FREE".
Amen, bro. lol.
I'm in the middle of what we Americans fondly call 'the bible belt'. And let me tell you, these bible-thumpers can be very nasty people, for all their mouthing about brotherly love!
