yes through necromancy you can put a soul into a body and speak to the deceased but i warn you it hurts the person three times worse than how they died if they were hit by a car three times worse imagine being hit three times empathy i beileve is what hurts you most out of the three times rule
When someone dies, their ghost is left here for a couple of months or years and the Soul goes to the afterlife, takes a rest for a couple of years and gets reincarnated... again! Didn't you say that Ragnorok? I agree with Rag about this. But wait, what happens to the ghost when the soul reincarnates into another body? Like if the ghost hasn't disappeared yet and the soul was getting re-born again, what happens?

MorionDae looked over this thread and explained a flaw in my writing. Rather then the Soul being a state of the Spirit, it's more like a part of the Spirit. It's like the roots that bind the Spirit to a body.
The Ghost is residual energy, nothing more. It is not related to the Spirit and will not be affected by the Spirit's reincarnation in any way. It may fade before the Spirit reincarnates, it may remain for centuries after, it all depends on the strength and mass of residual energy left behind.
The Spirit has no set time limit for reincarnation. It does have to make the voyage back into the Spirit World before going to a new body, but according to the experience of the Spirit this could take anywhere between a few days to a week and the reincarnation could take anywhere between a few days and however long the Spirit wishes to wait.

To a degree. Reincarnation is possible, but we can't exactly bring the dead back to life if we wait to long. We might be able to turn the corpse into a puppet, but if the Spirit has already left the Material Plane, there is no way to call it back to the body. At least none that I know of.

No, we have no control over that. That is the Spirit's job and the Spirit would choose at birth which body will hold the Soul. The Soul is basically like the roots of a person's Spirit, it's what binds them to a body.

Not exactly, but you can talk to the Spirit. Allot of people don't realize that there is a difference between a Spirit and a Soul, but there is.
