divination: Pendulum

Divination is the art of knowing, or locating.

A pendulum is made by tying a clear Quartz ( may be other crystals if you wish ) to a copper wire and you channel energies to find an object.

NOTE: the pendulum must be extremely accurate in level ( if handcrafted) the point must be pointing downwards or you may get biased results.

It is always good to cleanse your pendulum before you use it! usually salt water is good but other botanicals (herbs) may be used as well!

after you bathe your pendulum it is ready for use!
you may also choose to pass it through frankinsence!

Get a map or draw one in magick ink!

now there are two techniques, questioning and drawing:

questioning ( for less experienced ):

hold your pendulum over the map and announce aloud that left is NO and right is YES or vice versa and any other direction is an invalid choice and would entail that the object is not in that area,

NOTE: your pendulum must be absolutely still

focus on the lost object and ask questions like:
"is it in the living room?"
and wait for the pendulum to go in a direction. if it doesnt move you are either not focused enough or the pendulum is not still enough and in that case repeat the question! After enough evidence you can hunt for your item!

drawing ( For experienced ):

hold your pendulum over the map and focus completely on the object, feed your energy to the pendulum and hold it COMPLETELY still, if you are focused the pendulum will move in the direction of where the object is located on the map. re-position the pendulum and retry, once you have gathered enough points you can pinpoint the exact location! If your pendulum points off the map or goes off the map the object is not in the surveyed area!
