Psi ball scare?

it is a good idea that one monitor ones body when working with psi. Getting tired, sore, headaches ect are the bodys way of letting us know it is time to stop.

There can be nasty side effects from overworking yourself with psi, as well as with working out. Enthusiasm is always good, but you need to pace yourself when you are starting. Though I would like to compliment your obvious natural talent with energy manipulation, some mages cannot make psi balls despite their other abilities. You just need to practice moderation and listen to your body :)

I've had these very symptoms many, many times before. Particularly in my first month of energy manipulation. I would do it for hours upon hours, and then yea. The big thing is to not over work your self. Set a small training schedule set for say 15 flexible minutes a day. Also, if you over work yourself you may become tired, and then get careless, and teach yourself to use psi in a careless, drowsy manner. Tho I usually practiced in the day so this never happened to me. OR just join one of great covens for beginners or an energy manipulation coven.
I myself have started with tai chi and other chi related techniques.

not to sound harsh, but if you know so much about magick and psionics (which I think you do, by the way) then you should know that age does not necessarily matter in these fields. All that matters is how long you've been studying, and your level of maturity. Obviously kody has been very mature in his study of psionics, he even set himself a schedule. Again, just wanted to voice my opinion..

i always thought the point of psi balls was to practice for psi swords and stuff....

What is the purpose of a psi ball?

As I understand and used them, psi balls are a way of learning to feel, gather and manipulate energy as a practice for spell work.
