this has been explained many times, but i will explaine again, chi (also known as prana) is life energy it is the energy that your soul and body generate, this is the energy that you use to effect things like energy balls and aura clensing, chakra clensing etc
ki (also known as mana) is the energy of the universe, (this can be drawn in and stored,, used for manifesting and effecting big scale defenses as well as combat (when combined with chi.)

No not with chi or even ki for that matter because when you make something smaller it makes it weeker BUT when you save more energy. So you can make something big but when you make something smaller it uses less energy so hince less power but if you make it take the energy around it while you make a Chi, Ki, or psi ball you are feeding it with that energy but you can also make it feed of the energy around you so you could take the energy from a tree and then you could make a tree energy ball. With energy there is a ton of thangs you can do it I perenely am try to teach my self Offensive energy skills. I can make a shealed but when I make when the attack is happing it going to be less efective. The reson for this is because the persons energy is attacking me for I am useing less energy. This is traning your mind not your body.
