I thought it would be cool if we had a thread to share the quotes and/or poems that inspire us; whether they be self made or not.

She

Copyright by Neb

Beauty,

Grace,

She seems so perfect,

So beautiful,

So strong.

You'd think she's unstoppable,

That she can do no wrong.

You can't possibly see her,

Not the real her.

You're so focused on the fake smiles,

The little lies,

The way she always looks composed,

You'll never see her.

She lays awake at night

She cries herself to sleep.

And when the morning comes

She puts on a mask,

A mask you'll never see.

Inside she's constantly dying,

She's always falling apart,

But she'll never let you see

She'll never be that weak.

She'll make things always look

Perfect .

And you'll never know her,

Never hold her.

Don't you understand!?

Can't you see?!

Past,

Present,

Remember!

Remember!

I'm sunken in now
Just like a grave.
"Death becomes you",
Softly whispers through the trees,
"Come with me now,"
"And you shall be free."
Oh how the trees howl
In this darkened night.
Oh how the clouds
Block out all light.
So many whispers,
So many dreams.
"Death becomes you,"
The lonely cold night sings.
"Life is no more than a dream,"
"Death becomes you,"
The lonely cold night sings.
Life fades away.
Encased in darkness
Beauty withered long ago,
The light fades
As I go.
"Death becomes you,"
The lonely cold night sings.
Am I dead already,
Or am I dying now?
Or is this all just some fantasy,
Built within a dream?
Am I awake?
Or do I sleep?
"Death becomes you,"
The lonely cold night sings.
Alone,
Afraid,
Left to weep.
Am I awake?
Or do I sleep?
Lady in my vision,
Will your hand for me reach?
Or will you simply watch
As my breath leaves?
Lady of death,
Is it a cold lesson you teach?
Or will your fires warm me,
And I stay in your keep?
Lady of despair,
Please do not weep.
My heart is breaking
For each tear crowning your face.
Dearest Lady,
For me never weep.
In your grace I live,
And never sleep.

"They say hope, begins in the dark. Others flail around, trying to find it. The dark, for me? The dark is where I shine"

Know thyself.

Deep within your hear the voice.

Know thyself.

You turn, you run, you have no choice.

Know thyself.

Give up running and become.

Know thyself.

You are undone.

In Memory of Michelle Annaliese and Celine Franchesca
Two angels walked the path beside me,
They knew purity.
They knew purity along with many other things,
Like how to make you smile,
And how to love something in everything.
We walked for two lifetimes,
Until we came to a fork in the road.
We stopped, we said our goodbyes, and we kissed.
The stars poked through,
The night sparkled.
That smile does not come as easily now,
Only in memory.
Their touch is no longer there,
Only in Heaven.
But their laughter is always here,
In my ears.
For a hundred years.
The smiles they smiled, they knew no boundaries.
The love they loved,
The dance they danced,
And the hearts they touched are forevermore.
