Moon and Astrological Sign Combinations
We've discussed Void-of-Course so you know that astrology does effect the magickal energy of the moon. This lesson will go into more detail about that relationship.
As the moon makes its way across the sky, it travels through the constellations. Each constellation is associated with a particular astrological sign. As the Moon connects with that sign, its power is augmented by that astrological association.
What sign the moon is in at the time you work magick can have a great impact on the outcome. Work magick when the moon is in a complimentary sign and you'll get a nice boost.
In general terms, spells and rituals involving the fire element should be performed when the Moon is in a fire sign: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.
Spells and rituals involving the earth element should be performed when the Moon is in an earth sign: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn.
Spells and rituals involving the air element should be performed when the Moon is in the air sign: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.
Spells and rituals involving the water element should be performed when the Moon is in a water sign: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.
