Hi, I have a clear quartz crystal and i want too empower it too help me gain knowledge easier, like if i am revising for my test i would like the knowledge too stay there and not drift.
Or somway too help me remember stuff while in the actual exam. I can also were it as a necklace or keep it in my pocket
Any help would be exetremly helpful becuase my exams are soon and help grateful
People have different opinions on the matter, but here is mine.
Any rock or crystal does not need to be recharged or charged at all. It is naturally flowing with energies that enhance certian things at all times. It doesn't go away.
I suggest looking up the different stones and their properties to aid you.
while quartz is good for holding energy things like tiger eye and ameythst naturally drawn it in and hold a charge better.besides the only really good quartz out there is the stuff you get from a government supply since it has to be made in space.

1 way to programme any crystal for any use:
Step One - Clear your crystal with whatever method you prefer (water, smudging or a cleansing ritual), and sit down with your crystal at your personal altar or in a place that you're not likely to be disturbed while you are programming your crystal.
Step Two - Hold the crystal in your dominant hand (right hand if right handed) and clear your mind of unrelated thoughts. Start to focus on your intention for the programming of your crystal.
Step Three - Focus on your intention for your crystal by saying descriptive words aloud. For instance, if you want to program your crystal to bring peace of mind, start repeating the words "peace of mind" over and over again. A whisper is fine if a normal tone of voice would attract distracting attention from others.
Step Four - Repeat your intent verbally into your non-dominant hand, then place that hand over your crystal to push the vibrations into the crystal.
Step Five - Continue holding the crystal and repeating your intention until it feels as though the vibrations have sunk into the crystal fully. If necessary, repeat step four.
Once your intuition tells you or you have a sense that the crystal has accepted the vibrations, open your hands and thank the crystal. The crystal is now programmed.
yes but these work better.also you want something thats doesn't have any cracks in it.i made the mistake of using cracked quartz once and ended up with a piece lodged in my hand as it exploded due to all the energy.

The serious shaman group (one of many groups I'm in) advised I place the crystal in the rain and leave it there or wash it in the natural waters to recharge.
