What's the difference by

I have seen vampire written as both vampyre, and vampire. What is the difference between these two? If any?

No difference. Vampyre is "old English"; vampire modern.

There really is no difference since by whatever name you call them they do not exist. As Brysing said, it is just the same word with different spellings.
