Honey jar question.
By:
I made a honey jar last night to help sweeten my relationship with my husband since we've hit a rather rocky patch. I went to straighten up today and realized I had forgotten to add a few ingredients. Can I pop open the jar and quick add a the forgotten ingredients or will I have to start over? Thanks for the help all! :)

Once you've sealed the jar it's best not to reopen it but to start fresh, since its only been a day it's okay to do a new one all together, maybe make a list of things you need and meditate before you start one again, it'll give more energy and keep you focused :)

I would concur with the above commenter and say not to reopen your jar, once it's sealed reopening it lets the energy out. But maybe see it this way: you may not have been meant to use those certain forgotten ingredients and so you did not remember by Divine's funny way of getting us to do what's best for us. So maybe keep your Jar spell going and see what manifests from the ingredients you did put in. :) You can always recast if need be, but don't obsess about what you didn't "do right," because that kind of thinking will actually deter and derail your spell's journey to manifest. Let it be.

Always better to restart any sort of magickal workings if you've made a mistake, or forgotten to add some crucial ingredient. Going to change something in a spell, charm etc. also goes against the element of 'forgetting' about the spell, which is very important for certain magickal workings. Good luck with the jar!
