On and off for about a year now, I have been at my best attempting to astral project. I have tried different techniques such as the rolling-out technique, lifting myself up technique, and the silver cord technique. But no avail. I have prepared myself long enough to AP, but it just is not working out.
I well protect my personal bedroom, but one specific unharmful spirit remains there in my room as I don't mind him staying. I have my own personal bedroom at my father's house and I made sure there wasn't going to be anyone oranythinginterrupting me.
I attempted once again this evening, but I felt some type of energy pushing me down, and not letting me out. Might I add that every time I do attempt to AP, this always happens. I am not able to remove myself.
Also I felt myself falling asleep and had somewhat of a half dream/vision thing of a blonde woman screaming and running away from me. My mind was jolted back to focusing again, but I knew I couldn't focus anymore, so I up and rage quit.
Am I doing something wrong here? I'm preparing myself before the attempts. I meditate, and even go in a trance-like state before attempting again, to better focus myself.
Try this, since you use you bed. Next time you lay down and wish to ap. Rest your head on your pillow and roll your head left to right will doing this feel for the natural resting spot for your head, it will help you relax and be very comfy for you. Then relax take deep breaths in through your nose and out of your mouth. After 10 breaths or as many as you wish to take. relax, feel yourself becoming lighter. Now imagine a rope that hangs down from the roof of your bedroom and stops in the middle of your chest. Now grab this rope with both of your hands and began to pull your self upwards with a hand over hand technique keeping your body in a vertical position as it is on your bed. As you do this feel your real body as it would be on the bed below as you are now in your astral body climbing the rope. You may feel a rush of energy in your stomach and chest, this is all normal and lets you know that you are on the verge of projecting.
This reaction is most often due to fear (known or subconscious). I would suggest meditating on it, and see what comes up. If it is fear causing it then find a way to face it and release.
