I guess I've always been gifted when it comes to the supernatural. People around me remark how open I am to my surroundings and how intuitive I can be. My close friends, as well as my coworkers, even go so far as to call me psychic. I suppose Claircognizance would be the word I would use to describe what I feel I am able to do. In a way it is psychic knowing; where you don't know how you know something, and can't describe for any reason why you feel the way you do about something or someone. Most of the time the first thing that pops to mind for me is correct, and usually I even have to censor myself so as I don't freak people out when I know what they're going to say or do before they actually do.
As a child to young teen, I could always find my parents when we would get separated while shopping. I remember as a teenager, I had a boyfriend who flat out believed I had powers, and he would even try testing me by having me guess what he was holding in his hands when we were talking on the phone. I was usually correct. (Although our relationship ended abruptly and not on good terms, so I guess I shied away from furthering those skills)
And lately; I'm usually always able to find the missing items, that my coworker has misplaced, just by thinking of them. As well as know what he's going to ask for before he can say the name of the object.
Anyways, I've always been drawn to the magical side of life, and I guess I'm here now to broaden my knowledge and learn what I can.
And to just have fun with it.
Also; I used to have a shadow person guard me as I slept when I was younger. People say that they are dangerous and evil, but I never felt threatened or scared. It would stand at the end of my bed by my door. As a child I just thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me or something in my room was causing this illusion, but there was no way anything in my room looked like someone standing there or that I would see it night after night.
