Hello, I am an 19 year old male. As all humans do, whether deep inside or on the outside, I show an almost insane fascination with magic. I have researched the topic extensively, and I feel that the area that has been aptly named (though not necessarily correct) 'Black Magic' has a sort of indefinable pull on me. While the (same with the naming)'White Magic' has a sort of hold, it is not quite as strong as the 'Black Magic' pull. Now, to say 'Black Magic' does not necessarily mean necromancy or death spells and the like. I just have a natural curiosity over it for research purposes and the when and why it was called such.
(That is not to say that it exists; A member has pointed out that the power and intentions of the spell/ritual reside within the heart of the witch.)
I am not really sure where I stand in the world, however, but I categorize myself mostly as a solitary practitioner of my own view of magic. I am still exploring the expansive realm of magic and religion, but I feel being this has suited me quite well. I am open to any and all religions, and if you feel I don't understand something (which may be very likely) tell me so! However, I will not associate myself with you if you think your religion is better than anyone else's, or if you think yourself better than another.
I haven't done much magic in my life. However, this can change at a moment's notice. I just want to make sure I have everything right. I would like to join a coven so I can better learn exactly what magic is (my current definition from sources is the manipulation of energy. This seems rather universal), when it is appropriate to use it (I feel that I will know when to use magic, but this may not be the case), and what some of the consequences of magic are, good and bad.
