"Be the change that you want to see in the world."
"And it harm none, do what you will."
My path is driven by the word "why". I have an insatiable lust for knowledge in all subjects, but the root of my curiosity stems from long theological debates that my father and I had in my early adolescence. I was raised a Christian. My father was a minister (though he let his license expire before i was born), and his father before him, and his father before him. From the time that I could understand the religion i was born in, I had always questioned why it has caused multiple wars throughout the centuries, and caused brother to turn against brother in a power struggle for who has the "right" answer.
When I graduated from high school and moved out from under the fire and brimstone umbrella of my father, the first thing I did was get my hands on every religious text I could find. I studied religions from all over the world, including but not limited to: Catholicism, Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism, Kemet, Hoodoo, Wicca, Native American Shamanism, and other, less talked about pagan religions as well. That being said, I know a thing or two.
I will never claim to be a know it all, I will never tell you that your way is wrong, nor will I tell you that it is right. However, if you ask my opinion on a subject, please don't be offended if my views contradict yours (remember, you asked).
Now on to the fun part of me ^.^ I've had a few focuses when it comes to my particular path, and thus far I have found quite a comfy niche in practices that include herbs, cord magick, color magick, meditation, energy manipulation, astral projection, and divination.
My sun sign is Aquarius, my moon sign is Taurus, and just about everything else seems to fall into the domain of the Capricorn. The Native American Zodiac pegs me for an Otter, and the Chinese Zodiac lets me hang with the Monkey. Feel free to message me with any comments, questions, concerns or complaints that you may have for me, and I will do my best to respond to you in a timely manner. I don't visit this website daily, but I do make a solid attempt to be on here at least twice a week, and once I'm settled in to my new home, I'm sure that the time i spend on here will grow exponentially.
Also, I used to be called Aielah :)
