Personal Bio
I am a Christian, but I follow a much more lax version of my faith than most others. I do believe in an afterlife, but the way I think of it, the positives of people go to Heaven, and our personal demons and negative side goes to Hell. There is a place for everyone. I also acknowledge the idea that in reality, all faiths lead to the same place. The idea of the All being the head of a pantheon and such is the same principle as Christianity. Just because there are multiple names does not mean that it can't represent the same thing. Therefore, God=Zeus=Jupiter=so on, so forth. Same thing with the Goddess. She, in my opinion is just the representation of the feminine side of the very same God that I worship. That simple. So the idea of a "one and true right way" still stands. Where people assume that that also means customs and practices should be followed in a particular manner is where I diverge. Take, for instance, magick. Every culture, every faith, every language and musical tradition has its own magick. It all leads toward the same goal, too. Improvement of life for one's own, or for their friends and family. Just because there's a "one and true right way" does not mean that there isn't multiple ways of getting there. Kind of like The Last Battle, from the Chronicles of Narnia... the man who worshipped a different deity was given a place in Heaven because he practiced good deeds in honor of the same deity, but with a different name. Call me crazy, but you know, it works for me. So, with that said, I would like to say that I am proud to be a practitioner of the Craft. Blessings! Draconic Phoenix
