A sharp or jagged stone must be obtained. The stone should be small enough so that it may be easily carried on one's person and remain undetected. A sharp-edged jewel suits the purpose well and cleverly hides its intent. A ring with any natural, cut stone is perfect, as are any natural, cut stones with sharp edges. Any small rock that is jagged or sharp will work quite well, so long as it may be easily carried. A pearl or smooth stone will not work.

Light the three candles at midnight, on the night of a full moon and place them as shown below. The stone or jewel should be placed in their center.

Once all the candles and the stone are in place, speak the following words aloud:

    ''Stone of the earth,

Guard my heart with your strength,

Protect it from evil and harm,

    That no danger may pass,

    No threat draw near''.

Extinguish the candles and break them. Wear or carry the stone any time you feel the need for added strength and security against an intrusion to your heart.

Place a hair from your head on the table, in the center of the candles, and place the coin on top of the hair.

    Light the candles.

Repeat the following words aloud or to yourself:

''Carrier of air and creator of the eleven winds

Bring me sight that I may see

Send your owl unto a tree

Let it listen to the leaves

And bring their message back to me''.

    Blow out the candles.

Take the hair and the coin and place them in a small envelope or wrap them in a piece of paper. Place the objects under your pillow for three nights. On the fourth night, bury them in the earth.

Let my spirit deep within move from out of night.

In a darkened room, light and place the candle on a table or stand, at a height of approximately three feet from the floor.

Sit in a comfortable chair or on a stool, with your back to the candle. You should be about four feet away from the candle.

Close your eyes and clear your mind. Imagine you are on the top of a mountain with a light breeze blowing in your face. It is night and the sky is lit brightly with stars. Relax and take a few moments to look at the stars.

Now, close your mindÂ’s eye so that you can only feel the light breeze on your face. Feel the breeze and smell the clean, fresh air. You are now at the top of a high mountain, it is dark, you are relaxed and your mind is clear.

Slowly open your eyes and raise the mirror so that you are looking directly into your own eyes. Continue gazing deeper and deeper into your own eyes until you are able to see that which your senses otherwise cannot perceive.

When you have reached the proper depth of “vision”, you will be able to both send and receive images and thoughts. This spell requires total seclusion and silence; even the slightest interference will break the connection.

CAUTION: It is possible to lose consciousness during the working of this spell. Take care that the burning candle is secure and properly protected so that there is no possibility of an accidental fire.

Grant me audience before thine eyes and ears

That thus this may be heard

    And my needs be seen.

Those who fear thee, seek me

Those who thou dost loathe, abhor me

In thy path, I wish to walk

And with thy voice I desire to talk

Clothe my bones with the strength of thy strengths

Fortify my mind with thine solid foundation

Gathered from the expanse of the universe

And carried by thine able hands

That in thy wisdom and truth

And through the purity of your spirit

These things may be imparted unto me.

Spirits of the Seven Winds hear my cry

And let this thus be so''.

After the sun has set, light the candle and place it on a flat surface, such as a tabletop. One by one, place the stones in a circle around the base of the candle. Place the jar on the table, between you and the candle.

With your left hand, take a stone and place it in the jar. Next, with your right hand hold the candle above the jar and speak aloud the following words:

Candle's flame burning bright, By your flame on this night, Trap all evil, seal it well, In each stone, make it remain, Never to be loosed again.

Still using your right hand, drip at least three drops of wax from the burning candle into the bottom of the jar, more is fine, but no less. Return the candle to its original position on the table. Allow the wax to cool and harden, this should only take a minute or two.

Repeat the above steps, including speaking the words aloud, until all seven stones are in the jar.

When all seven stones are in the jar, place the lid on the jar and extinguish the candle. Place the jar in a dark and secret place and leave it undisturbed. Never open the jar and never remove the stones. You can repeat the spell as needed to capture negative energies, but new materials should be used each time.

Knead the clay gently until it is soft and pliable. Place the clay on the sheet of waxed paper and mold it into the shape of a heart. Next, gently lift the heart-shaped clay from the waxed paper and hold it in the palm of your left hand. Speak the following words aloud:

From Mother Earth my heart was born, And to her bosom shall return, But pain has come, a pain that's new, And torn my poor heart in two. Having spoken the words, tear the clay heart in two pieces and lay them on the waxed paper. Next, speak these words aloud: May Mother Earth relieve my pain, And make my poor heart one again.

Gently, lift the two pieces of your clay heart from the waxed paper and begin kneading them together in your hands. Once again, place the clay on the waxed paper and form the shape of a heart. When you have formed and shaped the new heart, fold it up into the waxed paper, wrapping it carefully, so as not to damage it. Place a few rose petals in the bottom of the box and lay your heart, wrapped in waxed paper, on top of the rose petals in the bottom of the box.

Next, place the remaining rose petals on top of your heart. Close the box and tie it with the white ribbon. Hold the box in your right hand and speak aloud the following words:

From Mother Earth my heart was born, And to her bosom shall return, My mended heart, my heart of clay, To her I offer on this day, May she keep it safe and warm, Away from evil, strife and harm.

Place the box in a safe place, where it will remain undisturbed.
