#1 - Departed Person or Pet

A spell that which can be used to remember those who have passed away, or for pets that had to be given up.
You may need:

  • One white candle - votive or tea light
  • Candle holder for the votive/tea light
  • Picture of the departed, or a flower from the funeral
    • Share   
         
    You may need:

    Light the candle and place it where it can burn safely. You'll be burning this candle daily until you feel better or when the candle burns out.

    When you first light the candle, say something along the lines of 'To (name of person or pet) - thank you for a lifetime of memories. May this light shine to lead you home where you may find peace. ' Visualize that person or pet finding their way to the light and finding their way down the tunnel to the afterlife (or in the arms of a new family if it's a pet you've had to give up).

    Let the candle burn as long as you can- about an hour at my home - and light it daily for about an hour until the candle is burned out. If you cannot find closure, re-light a new candle and do the spell over again. When the candle burns out, de-magic the candle by releasing its energies into the universe and throwing out the left overs.

    #2 - Object Protection

    Simple chant and visualization.
    You may need:

  • The ability to visualize.

    With your first and middle fingers trace a pentacle continuously over the object. Visualize a flame coming from your fingers and making the pentacle and then surrounding the object.

    While doing this say;

    ''With this pentacle I do lay
    Protection here both night and day
    And to the one who should not touch
    Let the fingers burn and twitch
    I now invoke the Law of Three
    This is my will
    So Mote It Be.''

  • 2 others who believes the same.

    May she bring nightmares, depression and pain.
    We cast (insert name) to the wind, that all know his/her shame.
    May Hecate envelope (insert name) in the threefold law.
    May all forget (insert name)s shame, their harm, their call.
    May their ability to raise magic fall on deaf walls.
    We join our energies, fellow friends in the craft.
    May Hecate stop (insert name)s harm in the future, present and past.
    Only when their deeds are reversed will this binding be uncast.
    So Mote It Be.''
