this is probably really naiive of me, but how does one tell if they're cursed/hexed? or if they're experiencing bad karma?

typically im a really nice person, but lately (in the past year) ive lost all my patience, i get angry easily and filled with hate and wished ill on others who hurt me. which is uncharacteristic of me...

for the past 4 years ive had increasingly bad luck, but for a couple of months last year my luck changed (made lots of new friends, health was the best its ever been, got a job, got a boyfriend). beginning of 2019 luck changed again, lost almost everything i had gained during that period of good luck, plus recently had a death in the family, and now dealing with the aftermath of that, fighting what feels like a loosing battle.

it just kind of feels like bad thing after bad thing, life keeps knocking us down and doesnt give us a chance to get back up again. like i took one step forward and about 25 steps backwards. like life isnt really fair, the good ones die and the bad guys win. is this a curse/hex? or is it somehow my fault/bad karma? how could i clear this?
