I just happened upon this site while searching information on this creature. It's been spotted around the area and was scratching at my daughter's window tonight. I currently have her in my room with salt in window seals and the doorway however this thing has come and gone for the last 3yrs. Does anyone know how to get rid of this thing for good? It terrorized the town back in 76 and has been seen more frequently in recent years after it's disappearance in 76. I have a lot of kids and need it gone so someone please tell me what to do. I live in public property in a bible belt area so I'd prefer something I can do discreetly if possible. Thank you for any help!
