Alright, currently I'm looking between three different paths, trying to gather information on each before I decide which I will follow in magick.
The other two paths I'm looking at is Voodoo and Gypsy Witchcraft. I'll post forums subjected on them as well.

This forum I'm asking about Shamanism.
I don't know much about this path, I've done a bit of research here and there. The parts of it that interest me the most is the trance work and astral projection because I'm very interested in astral travel. I also like the healing subject of it with medicine objects like herbs, gems and oils.

Heres some questions I have:

1. Whats is Shamanism to you? What do you know of it, whats the basics, etc?
2. Whats the basic history?
3. Do they follow rules or certain traditions?
4. What types of magick work do they do?
5. What deities/spirits do they honor?
6. Any tips or techniques?
