Nyx is a primordial goddess meaning she was one of the first in greek myth. She is the pesonification of night She had many children, To name a few Moros (Doom); Thanatos (Death) and Oizys (Misery.)

Despite being the goddess of night and having children that bring Misery and Death I have found her to be a very loving and caring goddess to have the pleasure of talking to.

There were never many well known cults of Nyx Mostly she sat in the background of other cults. Howerver, she had an oracle on acropollis at Megara.

Nyx recently took a part in The house of night series she gave birth to vampires turning them into fledglings she gave certain gifts to some of them and to some nothing, Despite the vampires i think this to be true in some cases, Nyx is my goddess and since i found her i gained Empathy and a connection to earth. the connection to earth was only recently discovered and i look forward to learing more about that.

This was really just to inform people about her, Sadly she is not as well known as other dieties.
