Hey everyone, I've been slowly working my way into practicing witchcraft (elective witchcraft to be exact) over the past 2-3 years, and I've been apart of the Spells of Magic community for a majority of that time (it's been a while since I've posted anything though). Anyways, for those who don't know most of the past 2-3 years that I've been practicing I've been back and forth between living with my mom, who (as far as I know) is mostly unaware of of my practice though I have recently been dropping some hints and I thinks she's starting to catch on to it (thankfully no negative reactions thus far) and living in a college dorm with really strict rules . Good news though, back in January, I moved into an apartment and so I finally have some more freedom to expand my practice and I?ve been thinking about starting a mini garden to grow some herbs. However, I do still have a couple setbacks such as, I have a balcony but it?s really small and I think it?s just meant as a place for people to smoke (it?s around 10-12 feet from left to right, but only 1-1.5 feet from the door to the ledge), I?m not allowed to have any plants in hanging pots, and I don?t want to grow anything that will take up too much space (like a tree or bush). Also, I live in Los Angeles so if anyone knows of any herbs that grow well out here please let me know. I have some basic gardening knowledge, I grew up in Connecticut and did some gardening when living there. But since the environment in Connecticut is very different than the environment in Los Angeles any tips for planting herbs in this kind of environment are welcome.
