Ok,well i will share with you the information i have about this topic.
#1:you don't have to be a wand,in fact i recommend you don't because you want a wand that is blessed by you not someone els.
You can just go out to your back yard or take a walk and look for a stick you like.
#2:You have to make sure you like and make sure it isn't rotten or moldy,because i have heard those that are moldy and rotten can be dangerous.
#3:You can peel it but you don"t have to,and then make carvings and put crystals on it and just make it the way you want it to look.
#4:To you can put a protective coating on it but you don't have to.
#5:To bless your wand just do these steps and chant this chant:
set the wand down
close your eyes
put your hands over the wand an chant this:
May this wand be blessed
and useful to me and
powerful granting
me abilities
to do what i desire.
then your done.
Oh and you can make a pouch for it,that protect the wand and that is also optional.
