Hi.

I thought a discussion thread would be nice. What are the common types of magic you use within your own practice?

I'll start with my own to help give everyone an idea.

• Candle workings. My spell work is done with candles more lately. I like to carve addresses of targets. I also like to dress candles with herbs.
• Barrier work. This involves sprinkling herbs and powders around doorways to attract or repel. Hexing powders and herbal mixes are used.
• Burning loose herbs. This is done for intention. Herbal mixes are burned to attract blessings, induce vivid dreaming, or for exorcism.

What are some of the practices you are currently undertaking? Why do you find yourself drawn to these?
