First, sit or lay in the position that you find most comfortable. Then close your eyes and inhale a deep breath through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth. Continue doing that, and imagine yourself in a serene scene, such as the beach, mountains, waterfall, etc. feel all of the negative energy falling off of your aura. ¡HOWEVER! If you are meditating for an elemental spell, you do everything above but change your imagined place in correspondence with the spell.
