Okay, so we all have heard about voodoo and the first thing that comes to mind is voodoo dolls and sticking pins. Well oddly voodoo dolls aren't used in voodoo(Mostly in Haiti) for spells or anything else. Now I'm not saying that dolls aren't used in magick they are for example they are used in America,India,Egypt,Greece, Italy, Australia, North America, and Africa.
In North America, Malaysia,and Peru dolls are used to make enemies sick, weaken love. these types of dolls are called poppets and are a way of sending energy good or bad to enemy or friend. Bad in the sense that if you stick a pin in the doll that it will hurt people. They are good if you want to heal someone by massaging the area that hurts but also if you like someone you could send the person love ;)
In American voodoo you do see poppets being used but still you will never find them in a voodoo ceremony you will find them in tourist shops but if you buy one make sure you know its meaning.
