This spell is to banish someone's influence from your life, to help keep them away from you and stop them from influencing you.

Casting Instructions for 'Simple banishing.'

You will need the following items for this spell:

Close your eyes and breathe deeply to help yourself focus, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Visualize the face of the person who you want to banish. Tell them either out loud, in your mind, or write on paper all the reasons you want them out of your life, bad and good qualities about them.

If you've written them physically, light a candle, whichever colour you want (though black is good for banishing) and burn the paper.

Now, whether you wrote them or not visualize the words pushing the person away from you. Once they are far away enough for your liking visualize the words enveloping them, turning to mist, and dissipating, taking the person and their influence over you with them.

This is good! let me say though that when you banish something, it is good to attract something in its place. Be careful with fire.

A fine start, thought this requires a bit of an edit to add some specifics to the spell. You should include a visualization cord cutting. After you make your list, or goodbye letter to this person, imagine them in front of you. You could read the list out loud, or in your mind, then say ''I thank you for the time we shared and the lessons I have learned from our friendship, but now we must part ways.'' Next, imagine a cord attaching you both. Where this cord is located and how it appears is personal. If this was a strong connection, you might imagine a metal chain, if this was a weak connection, it could be string. This cord will be the energetic link between you both. Imagine a cutting tool in your dominant hand. Again, it is personal, so it could be scissors, it could be a sword, whatever you feel is best is correct. In one fluid motion, cut the cord and it will vanish, leaving a hole or mark on you both where it was tethered. Imagine a golden orb surrounding this person, healing them, and they vanish. Next, have the golden light surround you, feel its warm, loving, healing energy. When you feel a calm, joyful glow, light the candle, burn the letter, and end the spell. If this is a harsh breakup and you do not wish them well, they can vanish once the cord is cut, but be sure to still heal yourself. Otherwise, the wound will not close and you will need to repeat this spell for years to come. Also, do not feel as if this spell failed if a memory returned. That is life. It is when a memory resurfaces and you feel the raw emotion that you know there is still healing to be done. When you can observe a memory without being overwhelmed with emotion is when you have truly let it go.
