Astral help?

I know this might sound silly or even weird. but I'm really into astral traveling. I have a spirit who helps me out. but I always tend to be teleporting. But I feel like I could get the control by myself, but I was wondering about the veil to other worlds. and the fact were I could find the astral plane were all evil and powerful spirits go? sorry if im asking much.
