No one made any claims about Witches being burned in Salem, we know that isn't true. What I said was that there were no Witches in Salem, only people who were wrongfully accused of witchcraft.
If you don't want to practice magic I am confused as to why you are asking questions on a website devoted to the practice of magic and also witchcraft. Can you clarify that?
Remember witchcraft is simply that, a craft. It is not something which is passed down in the blood so having an ancestor who was a Witch means little if you don't actually study and learn about the practices that make one a witch.
What you are saying about your ancestor is right and I believe you. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise and I can help you develop your abilities because they arent there, and I see alot of potential in you. No matter what anyone else thinks, I can feel it and I can help you.
And also it can be passed down. Most definitely it can. And you are not crazy. You are far from crazy and in my family abilities have been passed down for the past hundreds of years. However, 99.9% of my family members ignored there abilities and everything they would hear, and everything that was right at their fingertips. Instead of embracing who they were, they hid this side of them to try to live a normal life. However there is no such thing as normal and there is also no such thing as impossible. Dont let anyone tell you that there is. Because we both know people like us arent the kind to settle or give up, or lose hope when we are told what we believe in, is impossible.
There are valid witchcraft traditions which believe in magical ability being passed down through the family. They have no objective evidence for it, they just claim it. I will say magic has been present in my family for at least 150 years, I personally dont attribute my own ability to my family. It came from hard work and study.
I think there is no magical gene. But there are certain traits which aid in magic. An intense desire for learning, the ability to learn, and an intense passion to express creativity. There are other things, but these are what I would say are common in the best practioners I have met.
If you have a good witch in the family, and they have these characteristics, you may express similar characteristic due to the expression of dreams. Also it is likely you are exposed to witchcraft from an early age or brought up in an environment which cultivated these traits.
I dont think there is a magical gene which suddenly expresses itself hundreds of years later and boom you have a witch. In fact to even call yourself a witch learning would be required beforehand. Its a craft, you may have natural talent with a paint brush but without studying the greats, your art will not be great.
I mean, being a type of clairvoyance, is amazing, my powers are growing. Ever since I have been reconising them they have been growing, I was talking to one of my siblings and she said she’s had the same thing but the things she hears is emotions.
But the main thing is my power has grown, at first I was only able to concentrate on the voices. Now I am able to hear them anywhere. Also I can feel power energy radiating from people wether it be good or bad. Another of one of the greatest things I have now mastered is what I call because I can’t find anything connected to it is inner travel. I can close my eyes and like leave my Body and travel places. Kinda like a ghost. And the things that will be going on will be going on at the same time. I have been practicing some of the spells out of my ancestors spell book. I did one but didn’t feel anything, I think when I did that spell, I think The spell reconised I was a descendant of a magical being and maybe strengthened my power? I don’t know but I am feelings so much more powerful. In the book she wrote try to stay away from other magical beings because they could try to consume absorbing some of you’re power. But the main thing is my power is growing, and I’m a guy, I didn’t know they’re were any male witches. Maybe the power was in me all along but when I did a real spell, it enhanced my power
This post is actually interesting. Scientists have been proving that cells retain memory in the cells nucleus, and they believe that even if a memory is lost, it only takes a very small bit to reactivate it.
So maybe by the spell you cast, triggered your cells to start to remember past learning. We are all part of our ansestors and yes, certain families do pass down their wisdom to newer generations.
