Choolah, the message given by the cards depends on what position each card fills -- that is, what aspect of the answer. That is where to start. What did the four positions of the spread represent? Is this a commonly used spread with a name we can look up, or did each card represent a different aspect of the advice being sought?

I do agree with crystalpink tarot reading is not really a yes or no. It is more of a way to see situations and possible out comes but never anything solid. You also need to take into about what each position represents and how you positioned the cards.
