Can't change my prof. pic

Does anybody know why I can't seem to change my profile pic? All of the pics I tried are the right size, and I was able to change it before. I tried exiting the site when it was done (and it hadn't changed), thinking that I just needed to refresh the page or something..
Is this a problem for anybody else?

Just leave it for a bit, eventually it will change. It did the same for me.

Open up your image, and click "Save as" then change image type to .gif
It should work...

Oh, nevermind then.

Sometimes it helps to empty your browser cache, at least in my experience.
