Was given to me from a friend because I told them I was looking into purchasing a physical copy of the book online, but I'm the type of person who wants to skim and read a little to see what kind of information it has, since their is no book store near me who carries this book this is a link they gave me to skim through.

Although I'm not Wiccan, I'm pretty knowledgeable of Wicca and it's theology.

Wicca firstly, doesn't have the concept of hell, at least in it's most common and popular forms.

Yes, the Witches Bible does state this. This book is only one of many Wiccan opinions, and should not to taken as law or literally. However, very few Wiccans actually believe in the Christian Hell to begin with.

Even the mention of the Old Religion is dubious, given Wicca was founded in the 50s.

I wouldn't stress too much about it, especially if you are solitary.

This is definitely not the right book, they have just used the front cover, the content is not the same at all.

I have a copy of A Witches Bible, by Janet & Stewart Farrar. I can assure you that the word Hell does not occur anywhere in the book. There is not one mention of Hell!
And by the way, there is no page five! The introduction starts on page 9!
Wicca did not start in the 50s. That was only when it became public. It started long before then!

Also thank you Jack.
Yeah I'm not too worried, just this was a book I've seen recommended by a couple of others so it had me with some questions.

you don't need to force yourself woth any belief, ots any a "belief" I rather prefer to take the points of psychic mediums on after life rathrr than any belief, From that point, Heaven exist both on spirit as well as Earthy realm, but hell exist only on Earth and little lower parts of spirit world if you wat to take it in the account, Though I don't believe in Hell where we are burned for sins, rather a place where demonic or lower vibrational spirit beings lives, again no one can force you or prove you the point and concept of hell or haven, you gotta exercise your belief by heart feeling, research and open mind.. Some things are better just in theory but not all theories of belief are reality~ Just saying

My personal point of view as a story I use to explain my little sister likevthis about concepts of hell and heaven:

A Thousand aliens on an another planet, Knows about this Earth, Some visited Deserts and some went to rain forest, some on mountains like Heaven and some on volcanoes.. and they created a thousand different yet a little simmilar theories of the Earth of which some are just myths of their preception and some shows truth according to their understanding~

ofcourse this can NEVER do Justice on explaining about Hell and Heaven but still... Belief.. ~

Blessed Be!

Go to Amazon, there you can bring up the new edition of this book and actually read the introduction for free. You will see that is does not match what was in that PDF, even though much of the information in the PDF is basically correct, certainly that bit about hell is totally bogus!
