Fedw (meaning four) is a Kemetic Orthodoxy divination system in which one may ask a yes/no form of question and/or may gain a general overview of a situation. This is asked of the Parent(s) of the individual Shemsu. It is taught by Hekatawy | (aus) to Shemsu in good standing, and is an oathbound system (meaning I cannot explain the individual meanings nor how I derive those meanings).
It has a few restrictions:
I can never make any sort of profit/benefit from offering this. This means that I will accept no money in return. I will simply do it on your behalf.
It is limited to yes/no questions and answers, with some insight offered into those questions/answers at times. (The system will not accept further complexities or variables.)
I cannot answer loaded nor repeated questions using it. (This generally results in me being unable divine for a particular person or for a period of time.)
I cannot answer some questions which are related to spiritual pursuits (such as relationships with x, y, or z deity).
I cannot answer questions involving legality or legal issues (such as if I do x, which is illegal, will I be punished).
I cannot answer questions which involve health issues in any way.
In addition to these requirements of the system, at any time my Mother, Serqet, may decide she does not want to divine for a person or a situation and may refuse to do so. At this time I will refuse to do readings for that persons question or that person depending on their situation.
We may also need to discuss a question and the circumstances behind it in order to get a correctly phrased question, and I can also refuse to put a question to my Mother if I feel it is inappropriate.
In some circumstances I may be required to stop performing fedw for one to four days if it is what Serqet requires of me. If you happen to send me a question during this time, I will log it so that you get answered as soon as I am permitted to divine again.
In some circumstances I may also be required to send you to Hemet (aus). In this unlikely event I will inform you of how best to reach her.
If you can follow these requirements and restrictions I will be happy to do a reading for you. If you cannot I will add you to a list of people I will not read for under any circumstances. This means demanding me to read for you regardless of her or my wishes will result in a permanent ban from readings.
