How should I begin practicing these arts. Im new to this whole thing and hardly know a thing about it. Im very eager to learn so if anyone can help me, it would be much appreciated.

Start with learning to meditate. Spend time developing the proper mind and control of your mental processes. Then take some classes on energy work. Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Reiki, Aikido or others work well. Yoga if you get an instructor who knows what they are doing. You pobably will not find that at your local gym. Start learning symbolism of the path you choose. It's not enough for you to know it. It must be put into your subconscious so that you can communicate properly with it. Guided meditations, initiations and hypnosis are designed to do that. Learn to visualize properly, and learn the difference between imagiation and using imagination in magical practice. There is a big difference. If you are working with a good group, all of this should be taught to you. If you are going it alone, you have your work cut out for you. But, it is still possible. Don't be in a rush to start chunking spells. Take your time, learn what magic really is ad don't get lost in a fantasy. All you will get back is fantasy.
